Quickly make changes to your website with Silktide’s CMS integration.
To do this, you need to look at your website using Silktide’s inspector. You can access the inspector in a minimum of two clicks from Silktide’s report overview screen.
As a demonstration, we have a dummy report for a fake website. Starting on the report overview screen, we’ll scroll down to the ‘Checks’ list and select ‘Check and fix misspellings’. Then, we’ll select a spelling mistake from the top of the list. In this case, the word ‘companies’ has been misspelled.
By clicking onto the spelling error, we can see where ‘companies’ has been misspelled on the website itself, through Silktide’s inspector.
Along the top of the inspector, there is a button labelled ‘CMS’. This will appear if you have successfully linked your CMS with Silktide.
Clicking the CMS button will take you to the CMS editor for that particular web page. Here we can fix the misspelling, save our changes, and then return to Silktide’s inspector.
Silktide is now updating itself automatically. Once it’s finished, we will see the changes we just made in the CMS be reflected here. This means Silktide will stop flagging the misspelling as a problem.
Adding CMS integration to your workflow is a great way to find and fix issues quickly. A full list of supported CMS providers is available at silktide.com/solutions/integrations
