What is the AODA?
The AODA aims to make Ontario accessible by 2025. It requires organizations with 50 or more employees to ensure their websites are accessible, with compliance deadlines by 2021. Smaller organizations are encouraged to follow suit.

Why it matters
Avoid legal risk. Reach more users. Improve user experience. Accessibility delivers all three—and designing for everyone is simply good business.

But I don't live in Canada!
If you sell, ship, or serve customers in Canada, the AODA probably applies to you. It’s about where your users are, not where you are.
