Independent of your Hosting Region
Your AI Processing Region defaults to your Hosting Region, but an account administrator can choose a different AI Processing Region. This only affects AI processing and does not change your main Silktide Hosting Region.
This information may constitute Personal Data.
Special Category Data. Silktide does not require or intentionally request Special Category Data for AI features. However, website content, prompts, files or other Customer-provided content may contain such data and it may be processed if included in content sent to the provider.
Mistral’s use of data
Data location
Silktide makes Mistral available only under the Europe AI Processing Region. Mistral states that data is hosted in the European Union by default. Mistral also offers a United States API endpoint, which Silktide does not use for this integration. Certain features may involve temporary transfers to locations used by Mistral subprocessors.
Model training
Mistral states that data sent through its API is not used for model training under its current API privacy controls. Mistral also provides organisation-level training controls. Labs or preview models may have different rules and will not be used by Silktide for this integration unless separately reviewed and disclosed.
Retention
Mistral provides Zero Data Retention for eligible paid stateless API endpoints. Where Zero Data Retention is not enabled, retention is governed by the applicable API configuration and Mistral terms, including moderation, abuse monitoring and operational requirements.
Security
Mistral maintains technical and organisational measures under its Data Processing Addendum and provides additional security and compliance information through its Trust Center.
