Give every recommendation somewhere to go

Review proposed tasks with the steps, evidence, and report they came from. Assign and manage work in Silktide using lists, boards, statuses, and labels, or send accepted tasks to project management platforms like Jira or Linear.

FAQs

What is Governance?

Governance is the part of Silktide that tests content, accessibility, user experience, and compliance. It combines scheduled testing and transparent scoring with AI strategy reports and task management to help teams understand findings, prioritize fixes, and track progress.

Which areas are included with Governance?

Content, Accessibility, User Experience, and Compliance are all included, with unlimited users and an interface available in 15 languages. Your team can manage these areas together and choose the standards and requirements relevant to your website.

How are AI strategy reports different from test results?

Test results identify individual findings. Strategy reports analyze those results, look for shared causes, and explain what your team should do next. Recommendations link back to supporting checks and become proposed tasks with priorities and effort estimates.

Can we use Governance without AI?

Yes. AI is optional, and an administrator controls which providers are enabled. With AI switched off, your team can still use website testing, scoring, and reporting.

Can we check our own content and brand policies?

Yes. You can create custom checks for your organization’s requirements. Describe a rule in plain English and use AI to help write it, then preview its results against a live URL before saving it.

How does Silktide verify that an issue is fixed?

You can mark an issue as fixed after making a change, which clears it from your issue list. Silktide updates the score once a retest verifies the fix. Later strategy reports review progress and explain what changed.

Can we manage tasks in our existing tools?

Yes. Accepted tasks can be sent to Jira or Linear with links back to the findings that raised them. You can also manage the work directly in Silktide using lists, boards, custom statuses, and labels.

How is Governance different from Analytics and Presence?

Governance tests the website you control and helps your team improve it. Analytics measures visitor behavior and conversions on that website. Presence measures how your brand appears in AI answers and search. They are separate Silktide products that address different parts of your digital performance.
