Forms are where many people get stuck. This guideline helps them avoid mistakes and put them right: clear labels and instructions, errors that are pointed out and explained, a chance to check before anything legal or financial is submitted, never typing the same thing twice, and signing in without having to remember or copy out a code.
Its nine success criteria include three added in WCAG 2.2: redundant entry and two on accessible authentication.
