The web is changing. Now, we live in crazy times. The AI is reinventing every last aspect of our life as we live and breathe. And what is that doing to the web?
Well, firstly, it's changing the way we think about producing. Right? None of us can probably avoid the reality that we're using AI already, or we're certainly thinking about it, to create websites, to create pages, to create content, to create social, and so much more. But we also live in an era where the way we consume the web is changing.
So chances are instead of using Google or typing in web addresses as much, you're finding yourself talking to ChatGPT and saying, hey, what about that?
That is the way consumers are increasingly consuming your brand. What does this mean? It means every assumption we have held about the web for twenty to thirty years is being reinvented right now.
What do we do in that world? Well, today, you're gonna find out. We have rethought every aspect of silk tide from top to bottom in this whole new age and this whole new era, and I am very excited to be sharing it with you today. We've got a lot to unpack, so let's get started with my colleague, Nayla.
Say your Fableheart University, a fictional university of magic, and I'm a prospective student looking for a place to study.
I might open up Chatchipiti or Google or just my phone and ask my phone, where should I study?
Every single place will show a different result.
And all of these new results are coming from AI. But, Babelhurst isn't showing up anywhere because if you're not optimizing for it, you can be excluded from the conversation completely. And your beautiful website may never get seen.
This isn't happening slowly. Referral traffic from Google to all websites has plummeted 40% year over year.
But on the bright side, these visitors coming from AI are much more valuable. On average, they're 4.4 times more likely to convert than a visitor coming from traditional search.
Websites cannot do the same thing they historically have and expect the same results.
This is a new and scary space, and we built a product to solve that for you. Allow me to show you presence.
We're looking at the overview of how Fablehurst is showing up in AI and in search. At the top, you'll see we have built in help for every screen in Silktide. If you're just getting started with AI visibility, you can click in here and watch a world of educational content.
Next step is a summary of how you're doing and what you can do about it. Let's dive in. Here we see what Silktide thinks of your marketing today.
Silktide employs state of the art agents that know every page in your website, every page in your competitor's website, and what the industry as a whole is saying about them. Let's take a look at what it's saying about FableHurt. I can see where we're falling behind, and I can see where we're pulling ahead.
All of this is written as if it were a newspaper article in natural language, easy to digest. There are tables and charts to make key points easy to follow.
We can tell you exactly the techniques that your competitors are using against you.
And if you're curious how any of those work, they're just a click away. Maybe you've heard this called AEO. Maybe you've heard it called GEO.
Either way, those terms are interchangeable. They mean the same thing.
A common misunderstanding is that AEO is just another form of SEO. The truth is AI is very different from search and Silkside covers both. Most importantly, Silkside tells you exactly what you need to do to improve.
Here are our proposed tasks. You can browse these and decide which ones you want to accept.
Every task has a priority and a difficulty. You can change them if you like.
You can assign tasks to anyone in your team. And if you're using a task system already like Jira, for example, these tasks appear there automatically.
Now we've had all the experience of AI giving you bad suggestions. And the truth is it doesn't always know what you know, and sometimes you will need to correct it. With SilkTide, we've made this easy. If you reject a task, you can simply tell AI why it doesn't make sense for you, and it will learn.
This, as it turns out, is massively important.
The same suggestion will never be made twice, and it will gradually adapt to your organization and focus on what you choose.
Everything you see here will be sent to you every week. If you have Teams or Slack, we'll notify you automatically.
And now, honestly, you could stop right here.
If all you do is live on this screen, you'll learn how you're doing, you'll learn how to improve every week, and you can just watch your marketing improve.
But, of course, there's a lot more. Let me show you a few highlights.
Let's have a look at how SilkTide views an answer from an AI assistant.
This is what ChatGPT is saying about Fablehurst University.
You'll see their brand and their competitors highlighted and you'll see positive comments in green and negative comments in red. We'll even tell you exactly where AI is getting its information. All of this is super easy to read at a glance.
Silktide measures what AI is saying about you every single day.
And as we gather thousands of answers like this, we can tell you what patterns and trends are emerging.
You may have heard the term AI visibility. It simply means what percentage of conversations with AI are you appearing in. If you're not visible, nobody's talking about you.
Silktide makes this super easy to measure. You'll see your visibility trending over time against whatever competitors you choose. And if you have multiple brands, you can view them all here. Next, we have AI reputation.
AI reputation measures how positively and negatively AI is talking about you. You can see at a glance the praise and the criticism you're receiving as well as compare yourself against your competitors. We'll even break this down to what we call traits. These are specific qualities that AI associates with your brand. For example, high admission standards, maybe it thinks for the expensive option or beautiful campuses.
With everything we're telling you, you have a chance to measure it and ask SocTide to help you change it.
Accuracy measures whether or not AI is saying what you consider to be the truth. If you've ever heard AI assistant saying something about you or your organization that isn't true, you'll know how important this is.
We can automatically track whatever facts you need to track and make sure that all of the AI assistants across the board, current and emerging, agree with you all the time.
And if they don't, we can help you fix it. Let's not forget traditional SEO. It still matters and Silktide will track all of your search rankings, all of your content gaps, and help you strategize and improve your SEO in exactly the same way that we help you improve your AI visibility.
I'm gonna hand you back over to Oliver.
Thanks, Hilo. So you just saw a small slice of our new online presence module, delivering clear, actionable advice on how to get your brand in front of consumers who are increasingly turning to AI.
But AI isn't just changing how people consume content. Thanks to AI, people are producing content for the web faster than ever before.
But with this new speed comes new mistakes, new hallucinations, and new AI slop.
It could now take less time to make content than it does to consume it, and that is becoming increasingly dangerous. So we've upgraded our governance module to help. Silktide has been redesigned to give you more insight into the quality of your web sites than ever before. This is our new governance module. It's what most of you use today in Silktide but reimagined.
Governance helps you measure and improve your content, accessibility, user experience, and compliance.
For all these four areas, we are introducing something we call AI optimizers.
AI optimizers are autonomous agents that analyze the pages in your site and figure out how best to improve them.
They can literally see your visual designs, understand your website's code, and combine data from all over Silktide to help you improve.
Let's take a look at what this one has to say about accessibility. Now accessibility is complicated. We're all used to the experience of working for accessibility by reading through a long list of issues and having to look up what they even mean.
Now, there's a better way.
Our AI takes all of the information from our tried and tested accessibility platform and consolidates it into this clear and easy to understand summary. So instead of wading through problems, I can now learn about the themes and patterns that contribute to my accessibility.
Best of all, SilkTime can now tell me exactly what to do to fix my accessibility.
I get a prioritized list of specific smart improvements that my team can make. Take a look at what one of these tickets is saying. This isn't just some regular accessibility check. This is specific, actionable instructions on exactly what you can do to change your site to improve your accessibility as quickly as possible.
We even show you how many points you'll gain every time you make a change.
Each one of these tasks is written exactly like a support ticket, and that's because that's what it is. Each task comes with a priority and an estimate of its difficulty. And with a couple of clicks, I can assign this to someone and move on with my day. If you use a system like Jira to manage your tasks already, SilkTide can plug directly into that.
Now, of course, we all know that AI makes mistakes, and it doesn't know what you know.
So if I don't agree with a suggestion, I'm asked why. Maybe I know this isn't something we can change in our CMS. My response is used to teach Silktide how to understand my website better. So if you've got a problem you can't fix or you'd rather tackle things in a different way, SilkTide literally learns from what you tell it. And it won't suggest the same thing to you again. Now let's take a quick look at our improved content module. We're introducing new checks for AEO or what some of you might call GEO.
These help you optimize the content of your website to appear in AI platforms like ChatGPT, Claude, and Gemini.
We're also introducing new checks to ensure your web pages are optimized for social media. Are you including friendly descriptions, thumbnails, and appropriate metadata? Silktide will now tell you.
And of course, we're all used to the experience of AI slop. Silktide now helps you flag when someone has done something naughty with AI like this.
Certainly. Here's a draft you can drop on the admissions site.
We've also introduced support for mixing languages in complex new ways across a single website with all of our spelling, grammar, and readability checks now designed to work in virtually any language and in any combination. Next, let's take a quick look at accessibility. We've radically redesigned our most popular area to be easier to understand and use than ever before.
In addition to our AI recommendations at the top, you can now see easily what checks are costing you the most points.
Our checks have been dramatically expanded to include full coverage of ARIA, as well as many new best practice accessibility checks that let you go beyond WCAG in achieving the best possible web accessibility.
We're also helping you understand your accessibility issues by breaking them into common themes like forms, navigation, and of course, everyone's favorite, PDFs. PDFs are now displayed with thumbnails, which makes them so much easier to browse. Silktide are dramatically expanding our PDF tests to cover the full PDF UA one specification, sometimes known as Matterhorn.
This is the gold standard for PDF accessibility everywhere. It covers 87 automated checks. But to keep things digestible, we summarize these into simple pieces anyone can understand. We're also introducing support for automated accessibility statements. Simply tell SilkTide the regulations that apply to your website and will help you construct a compliant accessibility statement automatically.
Accessibility statements combine the results from our tried and trusted engine with a helpful wizard that guides you through everything you need to record. Now let's dive into user experience. SyncTide is introducing the concept of a key page. Now a key page is any page you want to focus your attention on.
We recommend using them for your most visited pages like your home page or your most reused templates like your blog post. Silktide now automatically measures the speed and uptime of all of your key pages. Now let's take a look at speed. Once you've chosen your key pages, we show the performance and the technical detail on how to improve each one.
We've also introduced a helpful visualization that will show you just what the user's experience looks like when they're on your website.
This particular mobile page is super frustrating, and now you can see what your users are seeing.
But there's more. We're now measuring the speed your actual users experienced on your website for all of your pages.
This is the most accurate way to learn exactly what your users are experiencing today on their own devices. This is called real user monitoring, and it's available to everyone today with Silktide Analytics.
We've revamped our uptime area to show you when your website was slow or offline in this handy calendar view. If you use user flows, you'll also see when they go offline on the screen. So if your contact form or search or anything else interactive is being tested by Silktide, we can now notify you when they stop working.
We've also added support for more types of notification. You can now be alerted by text message, email, Slack, or Teams when anything goes offline. Next, let's take a look at compliance. Now, don't run away.
It's interesting, I promise. Compliance pulls together every single rule and regulation your organization needs to comply with around the world, and it shows you all of them in one place. It's designed to make compliance a lot easier.
You simply tell Silktide the kind of organization you are, the places that you conduct business with, and what you do. And it helps you figure out what regulations you need to comply with. For example, GDPR or Title three.
And then SilkTide tracks all of that for you automatically. Of course, we can't check every aspect of every regulation, but the automated checks that SilkTide covers can dramatically ease your compliance workload.
We'll be rolling out more compliance checks in the coming months. So if there's something you'd like to see, let us know.
Now everyone's definition of compliance is different. And whoever you are, chances are you have a need for custom checks that no one has ever done before.
We're introducing the ability to create these yourself now with AI.
Simply ask for the thing that you want to test your website for, and if it's technically feasible, our engine will write the code and allow you to test it on pages of your site before deploying it across your whole organization.
Let's pretend that professor Bumbleboar has recently left my university under totally unfounded allegations of magical impropriety. We urgently need to scrub him from our websites. I simply ask Silktide, create a custom check that finds all mentions of professor BumbleBore, including his popular nickname, Bumble Face. And Silktide puts together the check, lets you test it on your pages. And when you're happy, it's a click away from automatically flagging all of your content before you even publish it.
You might call it magic. So the eagle eyed among you will have noticed we've added a lot of new checks and an entirely new section to Subtide, and this means new scores.
We took this opportunity to rethink the way our scores work. We've heard from you that you want scores that you can easily understand and explain. So Subtide now provides screens that will literally show you exactly how our scores are calculated and exactly how they compare with the previous version of Subtide. And for the coming months, you can run your old scores and your new scores side by side at all times.
So to recap, AI to help you understand your problems and delegate them super efficiently, hundreds of new checks, a redesigned user interface with faster and easier access to all your favorite features, all new capabilities to create your own custom checks, and so much more.
Now for our final module, I'll hand you over to Zach.
As a marketer, I feel like I've spent the last decade choosing between tools that are powerful and tools that are easy to use. Analytics is kind of the worst offender. It's a very powerful tool I need to do my job, and yet it feels like waiting through a spreadsheet. That's why I'm so excited to share Silktide Analytics with you, a world class analytics tool that you could use without ever touching a dashboard.
Yes. The dashboards are there. The data's there. You just might not find yourself looking at it quite as often, and I wanna show you why.
Using analytics used to start with wading through a pile of data to try to find the one source or signal that would indicate what you need to do with your website. The Silktide Analytics AI optimizer changes that. Instead of starting with the data, it starts by defining a goal. That could be more conversions, more sign ups on a form, it could be a lower bounce rate.
You define it, and then the AI figures out how to get you there. It doesn't just look at the macro data, like average time on-site or number of pages per visit. It actually looks at the rendered pages the way that a human sees them and other sources of information like heat maps and user journeys, and it builds an understanding of how people are actually using your website, and most importantly, where they're leaving it. For example, here in Fablehurst, I'm trying to get people to sign up for our open day, prospective students who wanna check out the school.
Now I can look at the screens of where my web traffic is coming from. I can look at where they're dropping off and converting. I still have access to all the data. But with the SilkTide AI optimizer, I can look at the same information and explore the website through its eyes.
With that knowledge, it can tell me precisely how to improve my results. For example, on this form, I'm an American and I'm asking for a zip code. What I didn't know, but still today I figured out, is that the international students don't have zip codes and I'm only accepting numbers in that field. Those international students need to type in letters, so my form is silently blocking 30% of my visitors from even being able to apply for a visit.
I can assign this fix easily and linear to my web developer, and next week when the AI optimizer scans again, it will notice the changes and track how it's helped me work towards my goal. This is one of my favorite features in analytics, but it's hardly the only one. Remember when bot traffic was bad? Remember when it was something you filtered out of your analytics?
We're changing that. We believe in the not too distant future, bots acting on your website will become a significant source of traffic for many of us. AI is already looking at your page to try to answer questions from people asking AI about you.
And right now, that traffic might be a small percentage of your visits, but it's a percentage that is growing at an astronomical rate. Today, Silktite Analytics measures your bot traffic for free without charging you extra yearly page views, and we're rolling out new features to help you analyze exactly what those bots are doing on your website.
We've also made some major quality of life upgrades. Now all analytics platforms normally show you is the web page as a long list of web addresses, And I don't know about you, but they're not exactly the easiest thing to look at. SilkTite is pioneering the ability to see your pages by their actual name. Here I can see my home page, my admissions page, my login page, just as you would describe them to a human without having to read out the full URL. Now, of course, this is optional for how you wanna run it, but it is set up to name those pages automatically, and you can rename them to whatever you want them to be.
We've also made upgrades to our consent options. Now Silktide helped pioneer cookie free analytics, but since then, it's become a little bit of a contentious issue. Some territories warn against them, others endorse them, and increasingly the market is becoming confusing and fragmented. So we're introducing new options to help you comply.
First, we have basic consent, which simply counts the number of views, clicks, or actions on your website.
For most websites, this can be your baseline. Even if nobody consents to cookies, you're always allowed to record this level of information.
But we're also adding support for cookie backed analytics, which will record the maximum level of detail and information about your visitors assuming they consent. Now it's easy to set this up with the free SilkTite Consent Manager, which can automatically handle switching between those two modes. But we also plug into almost any major Consent Manager solution if you wanna pursue it that way. And we're introducing a whole skew of new measurements.
Things like how many people visiting your website are using dark mode, how many of them are using high contrast, things that are interesting to know but previously you never would have been able to tell. So to recap, Silktide Analytics is set up with AI that helps you optimize towards your goal. It's got a better, easier to use platform experience with screenshots and page titles that actually make sense. We have enhanced support for consent all over the world, more data across the entire platform, and analytics for your bots.
Everything you've seen today is just the beginning of what we're releasing right now in the SilkTide platform. In fact, there's so much stuff that I had to ask for some help.
We have this Silktide agent that can do anything you ask our AI to do, like, how do I fix what Chad GPT is saying about me? What's wrong with our alt text on this page? How do we get more people to convert on this form? It's one magical agent across the whole of Silktide.
We also offer an MCP, which is a fancy way of saying you can integrate SilkTide with Claude and Chatchi BT. If you're a developer like me, you can integrate it with your favorite IDE, be that cursor, codex, or clot code.
So if your team uses Slack or Teams, SilkTide can now notify you about almost everything it does. When AI has a new suggestion, when your reports are completed, and even when you mention in the news, which is pretty cool.
I don't know about you, but I'm loving dark mode right now. You can choose between light, dark, and high contrast, and even a color scheme if you'd like.
We've optimized everything to work really well on a mobile phone.
So now you can take SilkTide on the go.
That's a lot of languages.
So we all know charts aren't accessible. Right? How do you write alt text for a chart like this? Well, somehow we did it. Every chart in Silktide comes with this little explain button. It describes what the chart says and lets you talk to the chart to ask it questions. How cool is that?
So that is the all new Silktide. We couldn't be more proud of what our teams put together, and we can't wait to share it with all of you. We're rolling this out to all of our customers worldwide starting today. If you have questions, reach out to your customer success manager or the SilkTide sales team. We'll be happy to help, and thanks for watching.
Understand how AI and search present your brand
When someone asks an AI assistant about your organization, what do they hear? Are you mentioned? How are you described? Is the answer factual and up-to-date?
Silktide helps you investigate these questions and compare your presence with competitors.
You can track three distinct aspects of how your brand appears:
- Visibility: How often your brand appears in the AI answers being measured.
- Reputation: The positive and negative qualities AI associates with your brand.
- Accuracy: Whether AI answers agree with the facts you supply.
Open an individual answer to inspect the wording, highlighted brand mentions, positive and negative comments, and cited sources. Daily measurements help you follow patterns over time, compare competitors, and track multiple brands.
Traditional search remains part of the picture. Silktide brings search rankings and content gaps alongside AI visibility, helping you investigate both ways people discover your organization.

Move from measurement to proposed work
Silktide’s AI reports explain findings in plain language, with charts and tables to help you understand where you’re ahead and where you’re falling behind.
Reports also propose tasks. Each task includes a priority and difficulty estimate your team can review and adjust. Assign accepted work to a colleague or connect it with an existing task management system, such as Jira.
When a suggestion doesn’t fit, you can explain why. Perhaps your content management system prevents a particular change, or your team needs a different approach. That feedback helps Silktide tailor future recommendations to your organization.
Reports and notifications keep your team informed as findings develop, and update regularly to keep you ahead of changes.
See the patterns behind website problems
A long list of issues can tell you that something is wrong without making the next step obvious.
Silktide’s redesigned website governance module brings together content, accessibility, user experience, and compliance. New AI optimizers analyze page designs, code, and testing data to help explain the patterns behind individual findings.
Accessibility reports draw attention to recurring problems across forms or navigation, then propose specific improvements for your team to review.
Tasks include instructions, priority, difficulty, and estimated score impact. Your team can assign the work, send it to an existing task system, or explain why a recommendation is unsuitable.

Check content for the way people discover it today
New answer engine optimization checks help you assess content for AI platforms such as ChatGPT, Claude, and Gemini.
Silktide also checks social metadata, including descriptions and thumbnails, so your team can review how pages are prepared for sharing.
New checks help flag AI instructions accidentally left in published content.
Expanded language support helps teams check spelling, grammar, and readability across multilingual websites, including content that mixes languages.
Find and understand accessibility issues
The redesigned accessibility experience makes it easier to see which checks have the greatest effect on your score and explore findings by themes such as forms, navigation, and PDFs.
Expanded testing includes ARIA checks and additional accessibility best-practice checks beyond WCAG.
PDF testing now includes 87 automated PDF/UA-1 checks. Thumbnails make documents easier to browse, while grouped findings help your team understand the results without working through every check separately.
Silktide also introduces a guided accessibility statement builder. It combines testing results with information you provide about the regulations that apply to your website, helping you construct your statement.
Focus on your most important pages
Choose key pages to give important web pages and frequently used templates extra attention.
Silktide measures their speed and uptime, with technical findings to help your team investigate performance. A loading visualization shows how a page appears over time, making it easier to understand what a slow experience looks like to a visitor.
Real-user monitoring adds another perspective through analytics: the speed visitors actually experience on their own devices.
A redesigned uptime calendar shows when pages were slow or offline. If Silktide tests an interactive user flow, such as a contact form or search journey, you can also see when that flow stops working.
Notifications alert your team through text message, email, Slack, or Microsoft Teams.

Track relevant requirements and your own standards
Tell Silktide what kind of organization you run, where it operates, and what it does. Silktide helps you identify relevant compliance requirements and monitor the automated checks it supports.
You can also create checks for requirements specific to your organization. Describe what you want to test in plain language – for example, finding references to a retired name. If it’s technically feasible, our engine will write the code and allow you to test it on pages of your site before deploying it across your whole organization.

Understand how your scores are calculated
Expanded testing brings updated scores.
New scoring screens explain the calculations behind the results and show how they compare with previous scoring. Side-by-side comparisons help your team understand the transition and explain why a score has changed.
Start with the result you want to improve
Silktide’s new approach to analytics starts with your goal, then investigates the available data and pages to suggest improvements.
AI optimizers consider rendered pages, heatmaps, and user journeys alongside traffic measurements, connecting the numbers with what visitors encounter on the screen.
Findings become proposed tasks that are assignable to developers through Jira or Linear. Subsequent analyses review the changes and track progress toward the goal.
Your team still decides which recommendations to accept. The dashboards and underlying data remain available whenever you want to investigate further.

Make reports easier to navigate
Recognizable page names and screenshots make it easier to understand which pages a report is discussing.
Instead of relying only on long URLs, work with automatic human-readable page names such as Home, Admissions, or Login. Page names can also be changed to match the language your team uses.
See bot traffic alongside human activity
AI systems are another audience for website content.
Silktide measures bot traffic without charging additional yearly page views for that traffic, as well as giving you further analysis of what bots do on your website.
Get more choice over data collection
Alongside cookieless measurement, Silktide introduces additional collection options.
Basic collection counts views, clicks, or actions. Cookie-backed collection provides more detailed visitor information, assuming users consent to cookies.
The free Silktide Consent Manager can switch between collection modes based on consent. Silktide also supports integration with other consent-management solutions.
New measurements include visitors’ dark-mode and high-contrast preferences, giving your team more information about how people experience your website.
Get answers and coordinate work across Silktide
A shared AI agent allows you to ask questions across your work: what AI is saying about your organization, what needs attention on a page, or how to investigate a form’s performance.
MCP connections let you work with Silktide through compatible AI tools, including Claude and ChatGPT, and development tools such as Cursor, Codex, and Claude Code.
Expanded Slack and Microsoft Teams notifications bring updates into your team’s existing conversations, including new recommendations, completed reports, and news mentions.
The interface also offers light, dark, and high-contrast modes, color choices, mobile layouts, and support for multiple interface languages.
Built-in help provides guidance as you explore. On charts, an Explain button describes the information and lets you ask follow-up questions.
